Red Carpet Inn

My family saw lots of wasps on the porch, and there was a big cockroach inside the windows. In less than a day, we had five roaches in the room. The Wi-Fi was horrible. I’m never coming back.

The rooms are nasty, the staff are just as bad, and they have bedbugs.

I’ve been at Red Carpet Inn about four months and honestly can’t wait to leave. The final straw was being told to leave for no reason besides the assistant manager’s bad feelings toward me. For the past few weeks, she’s lived below me in room 157 and has made my stay a nightmare. I’m six months pregnant, and dealing with her behavior has been really hard. She deliberately turns off my AC using the switchboard at the front desk, so it definitely isn’t an accident. I don’t know why she has a problem with me. There are bedbugs and roaches in the fridge, and cats all over the place despite the hotel being “non-pet friendly.” Some guests seem to be allowed pets and others aren’t, which feels inconsistent and unfair. If you’re pregnant or just want somewhere decent and comfortable, this isn’t it. I wouldn’t recommend it.

The staff were hospitable, and there were a few useful things: a vending machine, hot running water, a working toilet, hand soap, AC that seemed to work well, and fairly spacious rooms. Still, the place needs major upgrades, and I’d only stay here as a last resort if I had nowhere else. There were dead roaches and roach droppings inside the picture frames on the wall. The fridge was dirty, the bathroom sink was nearly falling apart, the shower head was coming loose, and the water didn’t seem to drain. The coat hanger was breaking, there was debris in the rr, and the Wi-Fi was trash. Outside, it smelled like cigarettes by the rooms, the parking lot was very bumpy, and it took a while for the gate to open so I could park. It was okay overall, but I wouldn’t stay again.
