Scottish Inns Westcott Street

The staff were helpful and friendly, and the location was both convenient and quiet. I stayed at Scottish Inns Westcott Street from Saturday, February 7, 2026, to Sunday, February 8, 2026. My room was clean, cozy, and comfortable. A really pleasant stay, and I’d highly recommend it.

We won’t be returning. The bed was uncomfortable, the bathroom wasn’t clean, and there were roaches. The chair my husband sat in had a broken handle with a screw sticking up, which felt like a safety issue. Parking is very limited, and people there kept watching us and reminding us who we could have in the room. The owner, who I’m assuming was a woman, was super rude. After we paid, she wouldn’t give us a room card because we wanted to cancel our second day, and she wouldn’t hand it over until we canceled that date. The room also seemed nasty. If you ask for a non-smoking room, make sure it really is one and doesn’t smell like smoke, so you aren’t charged for something you didn’t do. It was a very bad experience, and we’ll never, ever come back to this location.

The people were really nice, and the room was spotless, which was refreshing compared with bigger hotel brands and pricier rooms. The rooms aren’t new, but they’re comfortable and have everything you need. It’s the cleanest room I’ve been in. Thank you!

They canceled my reservation and refused to refund me after I’d been there for less than 20 minutes. The manager was rude from the check-in process onward. I had two friends over before we went out, and he called with a nasty tone and threatened to tow their cars. They moved and parked elsewhere, then walked back to my hotel. As I was getting ready to go out with the boys, the manager called again to say they couldn’t even be in my room and that I had to leave. This place is hostile to guests and shouldn’t be in the hospitality industry.
