I was left outside late at night with nowhere to stay, after losing about 30 USD. I’d booked one night and followed the instructions, but the registration link never worked. When I arrived in the evening, I couldn’t get hold of the owner. After nearly an hour waiting outside, I was told there was a 10 USD late check-in fee that hadn’t been mentioned before. I paid it, but still never got a room. The owner hasn’t replied to any of my messages for days. They took my money and provided no service. It feels like a scam, avoid this place at all costs.

I slept really well here, it was so peaceful. The place is very clean, and the property manager does an amazing job. He’s skilled and respectful.

I’ve been sleeping on the streets because this company took the last money I had, and they seem to sleep just fine with no concern for anyone. I tried staying at this house and was treated unfairly, and I was a victim of racism. It’s been over a month while I wait for a refund, but nobody answers the phone or replies to emails. The owner told me face to face he has no control over who stays in these houses or what happens in them. It’s very unsafe.

There’s not much to do around the location, but you can take a bus to the red line and ride straight downtown, so getting there is easy enough. I stayed two nights and, as a woman on my own, felt completely safe. The men were respectful, people were friendly and welcoming, and it had a real community feel. Keep in mind you’re paying the bare minimum. If you expect a five-star hotel, go stay at one. I booked before reading the Google reviews and was mortified by them, though they did help me come prepared. Bring shower flip-flops or slippers, your own toiletries, and drinking water. Apart from that, everything was fantastic.
