Room 212 looked normal at first, but the bathroom had used soap left by the previous guest. The floor throughout was sticky, with beads left behind, and it seemed like the floors are rarely washed. There were lots of false eyelashes glued to the blanket. I could practically piece together a portrait of the previous guest. This hotel seems not to know what housekeeping is. They also left only one person's supply of towels and shampoo, though two of us checked in.

I'm giving five stars for a room I had to cancel. Hurricane Beryl left the hotel without power, and the phones weren't working. I was traveling to Houston for a cruise, but I got the email address through Wyndham. A representative named Kim replied within a minute and kept me updated. Thanks to Kim, my child and I weren't left in Houston without a hotel room and could make other arrangements. Thank you, Kim!

The staff were great and the rooms exceptionally clean, but I'm giving one star because of the shuttle service. As we walked into the hotel, the driver nearly ran us over in the parking lot. He seemed to be throwing luggage out of the van at his elderly passengers. The next morning he nearly left us behind, then drove as if he were in the Daytona 500. Another passenger asked him to slow down, and he answered in the nastiest way I've ever heard. I won't book there again if they keep using the same service.

My stay was comfortable and quiet. The room and bathroom were clean, and I liked having hardwood floors instead of carpet. The bed is firm, though that didn't bother me. The only downside for me was the lack of a gym.
