Woodspring Suites South Houston Hobby

We came back for an overnight stay a few weeks ago, and seeing Belma and Key still made the place feel like home. The next morning, Veronica and Johnny were there too, and it felt just like old times. We stayed for a year last year and loved everyone, from the women at the front desk to Johnny, who always helped make sure my family was taken care of. We didn't see Q this time, but shout-out to the crew. See you all soon.

The hotel is close to outlets and plenty of restaurants, which was handy. My family and I had a really nice stay, and the front desk women were consistently kind. Key, Q, Belma, and V were especially helpful, did what they could to accommodate us, and made us feel safe.

We had three people in a two-bed “suite,” but there were only two body towels. When I asked the front desk for two more after we got back from an event, the woman said they cost $3.50 each. She insisted that every hotel charges for extra towels, even after I explained that I've never had to pay separately for them at other hotels. Her response was basically, do I want to pay or not? I don't usually write reviews, but this is the kind of experience I'd want people to know about. It was 1 a.m. and dogs were barking while babies cried, so sleeping was impossible. The second-floor hallway smelled of cigarettes and weed. I'm still here on my first and only night, and I'm ready to leave. Spend the extra money somewhere else.

Miss Belma's night management made my daughter and me feel safe and at ease. The staff are understanding and family oriented, and the rooms were affordable and had what I needed. It's also conveniently close to stores.
