AC Hotel by Marriott Houston Downtown

We stayed one night at the AC Hotel for a very special occasion, a girlfriend proposal, and the visit was unforgettable. Austin at the front desk was amazing from the moment we arrived. He was kind, attentive, accommodating, and genuinely excited for us, going out of his way to make everything run smoothly and feel personal. Maria from housekeeping was wonderful too, sweet and professional, with thoughtful attention to detail that made us more comfortable. The staff's care made the hotel special to me. Thank you for helping make such an important moment feel perfect. I'd absolutely recommend the hotel and would love to return.

The elevator had some mechanical problems, but the amazing staff more than made up for that. I can't remember all the ladies' names, though they were all wonderful. Sarah at the front desk especially stood out. I hope the facility takes good care of all of them!

The valet service was a major disappointment. My cousin left his car with them, and they lost his key, which caused him stress, wasted time, and a lot of inconvenience. The owner made things worse by being rude and aggressive toward the locksmith who came to help. I heard him tell the technician to “shut up!!” in front of everyone. The valet company charges people for parking, so it should take responsibility for its mistakes and pay for the locksmith when it loses a customer's key. Instead, they acted disrespectfully and avoided responsibility. I know the hotel may not be directly involved, but allowing this valet service reflects badly on it. Very unprofessional, and I wouldn't recommend dealing with them.

I arrived late for a work event, and the team on site was well prepared and really helpful when we ran an event there today. At check-in, even after midnight, the customer service was so pleasant. Valet and front desk check-in were a breeze, and the room was clean and spacious. Great location too. Thank you 🙏🏼
