Capri inn and Suites

I paid $134 for a miserable room with bedbugs and no coffee. Should've read the reviews first.

Traveling with my two young children and disabled mother, I was turned away from Capri Inn & Suites even though I had an Emotional Support Animal (ESA) letter from a licensed mental health professional. Staff wouldn't even look at it and insisted I show a “registered” service animal certificate. I left feeling unsupported and frustrated, and my kids were confused about why we had to leave. There is no legally mandated government registry for ESAs or service animals. Under the Fair Housing Act and the Air Carrier Access Act, I understood a legitimate letter from a qualified mental health provider to be the only legally required ESA document, and I had one. The staff's refusal to consider it showed a lack of compassion and understanding. I found the treatment discriminatory and ignorant, especially given the children and my mother's needs. Businesses aren't required to accommodate ESAs in every situation, but they should understand the law and treat people with disabilities and mental health needs with basic decency. I hope Capri Inn staff get educated about ESA regulations and federal laws. Families already dealing with travel stress and health challenges shouldn't be treated this way.

We needed somewhere near family for two nights and got a very clean room at a very reasonable price. The bed was comfortable, the cotton bedding was nice, and the shower had good water pressure.

This was my second stay, and I'll keep coming back when I'm in the area. The room and bathroom were spotless, the sheets were crisp and white, and the bed was comfortable. The staff were very friendly.
