We keep coming back because we love this place. The rooms are nice, the beds are comfortable, and everything is really well maintained. Laguna Surf is right on the ocean, with a great beach, lovely views, and a great staff.

The location and surrounding area are beautiful, and the place itself is nice enough. But our room, or at least the one we got, was extremely outdated, and the toilet kept clogging the whole time. They gave us a plunger. We’d hoped for an ocean view, but the patio balcony faced a busy street, with a bus stop right outside. I think guests should be told where their room or unit is before booking. I wouldn’t recommend this unit, even though the location is great.

I’ve been visiting this hotel since 1982, and absolutely loved this latest stay with Laguna Surf Lodge under SCP Hotels. Everyone was great, and the service was superb from check-in through check-out. Thanks so much, Kyle, Tyson, Gabe and Jimmy. Love you all. Until next time ❤️

The location was awesome, and the maintenance man was so nice, really went above and beyond. The office staff was okay. The rooms and property are older, though, and the same housekeeper came into our room twice without knocking. I thought that was very strange.
