We stopped here overnight on our way to NYC. The rooms were clean and comfortable, and the staff were friendly. There are restaurants outside the property. It was a nice, comfy place to stay, though a street sign would help since it was a bit hard to find.

It feels a little like staying at Grandma’s house. The building is tucked away and a bit hard to find, with some worn spots, but it’s clearly cared for. The room was clean, the bed comfortable, the place quiet, and the staff friendly. If you want a new, modern hotel with a pool, spa, gym, and all the usual must-haves, keep driving. We’ll be back. The only thing missing was Grandma waving from the porch and telling us to come again.

I’ve stayed there twice, and the problems I ran into were minor. Tiavi, the desk clerk, handled them better than anyone at any other motel I’ve stayed at.

The rooms have peeling paint and the AC is loud and faulty, but you can find that anywhere. The reason we stayed here was John, who was the nicest guy ever. We saw him many times over the years, and he and Hugo were the best. Now that John no longer works there, we have no reason to come back.

The front desk lady was an absolute doll. The rooms were very nice, and the place was clean, quiet, convenient, and friendly. It’s close to anything you might need.
