Farm fresh eggs were such a treat, and we had plenty of outdoor seating by the huge fire pit to enjoy watching the chickens. The place was super clean, with an eclectic style and a fully stocked kitchen. We found this gem just minutes from my son and anything else we needed, and it was close to Emerald Isle too. The owner was friendly and accommodating. We went to visit my son for Thanksgiving, and we WILL be going back!

On both visits, it was a 10/10 stay. I first came in spring and liked it even more in the warmer weather. The gardens and farm are beautiful, and the peaceful scenery is lovely. I enjoy hearing the chickens crow in the morning, and every part of the stay was accommodating. The owner is kind and welcoming. I also love the feline friend who passes by now and then. This was my second stay, and I loved it.

The shared kitchen had everything I needed for snacks, fruit, and free fresh eggs, and it was a nice place to meet other travelers and swap stories. There are lots of spots to lounge around the property, which is beautiful and peaceful. Robby is such a welcoming host, and if you need something, he’ll find it.

I fed the chickens every day, and the house was clean and quiet, so we felt right at home. Jeremy and Robert were flexible, friendly, kind, and just great people. If I’m in North Carolina again, I’ll stay at The White House. Highly recommend it. Thanks, guys! Sara M.

We chose this place to be near family, and we’ll definitely stay here again when we visit NC. My hubby and I spent 8 days here a week ago. I wasn’t sure we’d feel comfortable since I’d never stayed at a bed-and-breakfast type place before, but we were completely satisfied with everything. Robby goes out of his way to make his visitors comfortable. :)
