We booked this place with my Wyndam points because we needed somewhere near River Falls for a wedding. The room was clean, and a burger place right next door had great bloodys, which the staff recommended. During our stay, though, there was no maid service, so I had to ask for towels each day. One morning the front desk clerk opened our door because they thought our booking was only for one night. Luckily I was decent and still in my pajamas. They corrected the reservation afterward.

The room was clean, the breakfast looked good, and the guy at the counter was polite and nice. I wasn't very hungry, so I didn't try much of the breakfast. Any negative reviews from now seem like BS to me.

They charged me $30 for a late checkout after I had checked out on time at noon. I came back at 1:00 for less than a minute to look for a key I'd forgotten, and the room hadn't been occupied. I called to explain, politely, but the manager was extremely rude, wouldn't listen or refund me, insulted me, and hung up. This was a hostile way to deal with a guest, and the fee felt predatory. One star feels generous. Avoid this hotel.

I make a point of staying here whenever I'm driving through Wisconsin. Peter is so kind and accommodating, and the owners are amazing. The service is incredible, and the rooms are very clean and updated. It's right off the highway, too. I definitely recommend it.
