We had a fantastic oceanfront one-bedroom suite, Room 301, with lots of space, two balconies, and great views. My wife and I stayed a couple of nights and were very impressed. The front desk staff were incredibly welcoming and friendly, and we’ll definitely stay here again next time we’re in Key West. I’ve seen comments about extra fees and surprise charges, but the booking page clearly listed the resort fee and parking rates. My bill was detailed and correct, with nothing unexpected.

Trexie was the first person to welcome us at the front desk, and her warm smile and thoughtful suggestions for restaurants and things to see in Key West set a lovely tone. We appreciated the kind, attentive service from the staff from the moment we walked into the Key West Opal lobby. Our three-week stay was wonderful. Thanks to everyone, and we hope to come back next year.

The sunsets from the sun deck bar were our favorite part, and the hotel is right by Duval street. The pool, drinks, and food by the pool were all great too. Andrea at the front desk was amazing, always ready to help with anything. We couldn’t be happier with our stay and will be back.

After a tropical challenge with our room, we were moved so considerately to the Sunset Key Cottages, and we’re eternally grateful to everyone who helped make our stay so delightful. Our first room had a stunning view of the sunset, cruise ships, and open sea. Andre at the front desk welcomed us when we arrived. At the cottages, we had a view of the pool, cool ocean breezes, and a home with amenities beyond what we expected. Words don’t do the accommodations justice.

From our balcony, we had front row seats to what felt like the most spectacular sunset on earth. The resort is beautiful, and the grounds, pool, restaurant, and bars are gorgeous. Trexie G was especially kind, professional, and genuine, and made our stay feel 10*. The location was perfect too.
