The breakfast was good, made for you, and the pool and hot tub looked like options, though we didn't try them. My discounted room rate felt fair for what we got; at full price, I'd say the hotel is worth about $40 a night. The beds were rock hard, and a pallet on the floor might have been more comfortable. They need to update everything before charging high prices.

The bed and pillows are really comfortable, and the quiet-flush toilet is great for nighttime use without waking anyone. There's a nice bar, whirlpool, and pool, and I'll try the sauna today. The old-fashioned weight room is the only thing keeping this from five stars.

The room's air conditioner was so loud it made sleeping difficult, and the TV was small and old. The rooms also felt dated and weren't much fun to stay in. Beds were average, while the pool and sauna were about what you'd expect and were fine.

I've been back many, many times. When life is hard, or even when things are going perfectly and I just need a break, this is where I keep coming. There's a lot here, including rooms for business travelers, an event area, and a bar. Breakfast is okay, the usual hot breakfast with waffles and sausage, and there's a dining area where you can chat or sit with family. The people working here are truly kindhearted, hardworking souls 💕
