For an older motel, this is one of the cleanest I've stayed in. The white towels and sheets were so clean they deserve 10 stars on their own. At a motel this old, I usually expect things to be worn out, but not here. No bed bugs or roaches, and you can't beat it for the price.

The owner was awesome and helped me with eclipse information after I contacted the hotel at the last minute. We went to Hugo OK for the eclipse, and although the hotel is dated, our room was clean, as were the beds and towels. I was quoted one price but charged less. Thank you, Village Inn, for helping make our adventure possible!

For a total of $50, the room was decent enough. It's not new or fancy, and the Wi-Fi code didn't work, but I was there only about 11 or 12 hours, so that wasn't a big deal. I'd stayed at the Casino for the previous 3 nights, but its Friday night rate was going to be $169, so I looked elsewhere. I'd heard people say "don't stay at the Village," but I thought it was alright. At a flat $50, you shouldn't be too picky. Three stars.

After one night here with my family, I woke up with bug bites all over my body. When I asked for a refund, the person at the counter suggested I'd brought the bugs with me. That was completely unacceptable and rude. I only said I'd woken up with bites, but he got defensive and said he didn't have bed bugs at least five times. I hadn't even mentioned bed bugs. I'm crossing my fingers I don't take any home. Zero stars. Don't stay here!

The rooms smell like mildew as soon as you walk in, and the blanket had a huge hole. The beds have bed bugs, and the owner said it wasn't his problem. It's sure as hell not mine, I don't own that crack shack. Worst place ever. I wouldn't recommend it to my worst enemy. If you're looking for a cheap room, think twice before going here. Thanks.
