Red Roof Inn & Suites Houston - Humble/IAH Airport

This is the worst motel or hotel I've ever stayed in, and the place was disgusting. I was short on money and needed somewhere to sleep besides my car, so I was desperate. The room they first offered had a half curtain and a door that wouldn't open. The next room smelled musty and moldy, with a broken door, cracked and patched floors and walls, stained bedding, roaches and other bugs coming out of the walls, and a smoke alarm that didn't work. I'll report that to the local fire department. The website says they accept dogs and cats, and ESAs with the right documents. At check-in I was told cats weren't allowed, even service animals. When I said I'd report an ADA violation, they said I could keep her in a cage. A cat in a cage? They seem not to understand that cats use litter boxes and can't just be taken out and walked like dogs. They said cats might tear things up, but the place is already torn up. The staff were rude, too.

I've stayed here several times before, but I won't be back. Roaches are crawling everywhere, and the curtains are filthy and full of holes. The woman in the office is rude. They should let the polite guys run it instead. Don't stay here.

The photos make this place look better than it is. It's in a decent area near the airport, and the front desk assistant was nice, but the room was too dirty for me. There were tons of little roaches, stained sheets, and no shower curtain in the bathroom. I wish I could've left a better review.

The rooms are filthy, the sheets stained, and there's mold in the bathrooms. There's no internet at all, and the hotel gets no cell service either. Staying here feels like being in jail. This place isn't worth it. Pay the extra $10 and go somewhere nicer.
