Red Lion Inn & Suites Hershey

We stayed just one night, and both check-in and checkout service were fantastic. The room was very clean, and the free breakfast had a decent selection of bagels, yogurt, muffins, and lots of drinks. It was clear the people running the hotel care about guests and the property. There was no elevator that we saw, which could be an issue for some people. The parking lot was a bit rough and could use replacing.

For seven weeks, we stayed here one day each week while my husband was having cancer treatments at the Penn State Cancer institute. It's only minutes from hershey hospital, Hershey Park, Hershey Concerts, and restaurants. Having a nearby place where he could rest between grueling treatments brought us a lot of comfort. The hotel is extremely clean, well kept, and well managed. The rooms are spacious, the mattresses felt new and were comfortable, and the staff are very nice. One day the cable went out; as soon as we mentioned it, the staff called the cable company to get it fixed. It wasn't something they could control, but they were right on it, and I'm glad we told them. Staff can't know there's a problem if nobody says anything. I recommend this hotel to anyone staying in the hershey area and will keep using it. 100% recommend!

The room was clean, and the staff texted to ask if I needed anything. I was in town for a conference, so I can't comment on breakfast. It's a great, economical Hilton, and I like staying on the top floor. Just be aware there's no elevator, at least not yet.

Our plans were last-minute. We left earlier than expected and decided to drive instead of fly, and since we'd only reserved a hotel at our final destination, we stopped in Hershey on a whim. After a very late dinner, we popped into the hotel, found a room available, and got a really good rate. The hotel and room were clean, and breakfast was neat and tidy. No complaints, we're happy customers. Thanks for making an unplanned stop easy!
