Residence Inn Baltimore Hunt Valley

We stayed for over a month with our child. The location worked well, near restaurants, grocery stores, the interstate, and a metro train system down the road. The spacious rooms have a full fridge, two stove burners, a sleeper couch, and a table with chairs. The hotel also has free breakfast, a pool, outdoor grills that were high quality, laundry and dryer facilities, and a 24-hour fitness room. Breakfast had a good range of choices. I wish they served bacon, though the meat patties they do have are good. The front desk staff were friendly, helpful, and outgoing. Renee deserves a huge shout-out for her professionalism, kindness, and outgoing personality. She treated me and my toddler daughter like good friends and took great care of us. Rosalia was also very kind and helpful. Housekeeping seemed understaffed, and the cleaning could have been more thorough. The pool was closed almost the entire time we were there in summer, open for just two days before closing again, which was very disappointing. The rooms also need repairs. There was a lot of wear, and although the couches and pillows were good quality, ours was badly worn and had holes. This place has a lot more potential if those problems get fixed. Apart from that, we enjoyed our stay.

Susie at the front desk has been extremely helpful with our needs while we’ve been buying a house in the area. It’s been a perfect place for our stay. The rooms are nice, the beds are comfortable, and breakfast has a great selection.

The Residence Inn in Hunt Valley became a second home for my family and me. I stayed nearly a year because a flood damaged my home, and we celebrated birthdays, Easter, and Thanksgiving there. The staff made us feel cared for and celebrated, and their thoughtfulness and genuine hospitality meant more than I can say. I especially want to thank General Manager Tess, Mike, Susy, and Ms. Renee for their exceptional kindness and service. I may have missed a few team members, and I’m sincerely sorry if I did, but the whole staff left a lasting impression. You can’t go wrong staying here. I highly recommend it.

My husband and I checked in Friday for a staycation to celebrate our anniversary and visit a nearby winery. Check-in had a small hiccup, but Elizabeth was amazing. She was patient, kind, and reassuring, kept me calm, and made sure it was all sorted out smoothly. Her customer service was refreshing and much appreciated. Thank you, Elizabeth, for getting our weekend off to such a positive start.
