We’d never tried a B&B before, and Sedgwick house made us feel at home right away. Chris, his wife, and their adorable son Patrick welcomed us when we arrived. The place was spotless, and it was clear the family cared about making guests comfortable. It’s right by Hunter Mountain and its great hiking trails. A quiet weekend here, with time to relax and a breakfast as good as you’d hope for at a diner, was just what we wanted. We had a wonderful stay and would definitely come back.

Chris was so helpful and nice, and the room was comfortable and clean, with pets welcome. The breakfast was just right. Being only minutes from Hunter Mountain was a big plus, too. We had an excellent stay and would definitely return. Thanks, Chris!

Sitting on the spacious front porch with coffee and panoramic views of Hunter Mountain was a real treat. Chris is a friendly, welcoming host who cooks breakfast to order and pays attention to what guests need. The rooms are clean, comfortable, and well cared for, and the B&B is handy both for Hunter Mountain resort and for amenities in town. Charming, convenient, and great value. We fully recommend it.

We picked this place for our first B&B stay because we needed somewhere that could accommodate our dog. Room #6 is pet friendly. The house was clean and cozy, with plenty of pubs and restaurants nearby. Hunter Mountain Ski resort is very close, and the house looks straight out onto a beautiful mountain view. I’d happily stay here again.

We loved Hunter, NY! Our hosts were caring and genuine, and Chris made sure we had everything we needed. The place was cozy, reasonably priced, and handy for exploring the area. Hunter mountain is within walking distance, and Tannersville, with its shops, restaurants, and bars, is a five-minute drive. We only wish we’d had another day to see more.
