That in-room whirlpool tub was the reason I booked, and it delivered. It fit two, the jets worked, it filled quickly, and I could get the water as hot as I wanted. It also stayed warm a long time, with a wide granite-looking ledge around it for keeping things close. The price wasn’t $200+ for the night, either, which was a relief after lots of phone calls and no’s while hunting for a room with a whirlpool/jacuzzi/hot tub. The place was clean, smelled nice, quiet, and close to restaurants and shopping. Staff were friendly and helpful, and the linens and bathrooms have been updated. They’re redoing the floors and continuing room updates, with larger TVs on the way. The front desk even filled my ice bucket and brought it to my room. Breakfast was the main disappointment. For a small hotel I wasn’t expecting hot food, but there were only apples, oranges, twin packs of chocolate chip muffins, granola/nutrigrain bars, and coffee. Adding juice, yogurt, cereal, milk, oatmeal, or hard-boiled eggs would have given guests more choices and earned that last star. The hall carpets are older and threadbare in spots. I had an iron but no board, though I’m not sure many people use them. Some vending and ice machines didn’t work properly, and the outdoor pool was empty for winter, so it wasn’t usable. I’d absolutely come back as long as they keep that tub. Lol.
