Our room was spotless and decorated in warm, earthy colors, though the windows looked straight toward the side of another building. The location is hard to beat, right by the main event venue, and the sky lounge has a great view over the park. Valet was very helpful. Josiah chatted with us while handling our bags, and I think Alex kept our car close while we picked up our Starbucks order on site. We didn’t eat at the restaurant, but I’d guess it’s good too. I’d recommend this hotel to anyone passing through Huntsville.
The rooms and decor felt warm and tasteful, and the restaurant and other amenities were pristine. I had a great time at Trilogy and would recommend it to anyone visiting or passing through Huntsville. It’s downtown, right by the Main Event venue, with an on-site Starbucks, valet, and a sky lounge overlooking Big Spring Park. Michael at the front desk was very helpful when I arrived. Alton was friendly and personable, and loaded my luggage for me. The valet team was courteous and kept my car nearby while I finished a meeting.
We had dinner at Harvest Moon, where the food was both delicious and beautifully presented, and the complimentary vouchers covered a full breakfast there as well. This was a lovely Christmas gift from my husband, who booked the stay along with symphony tickets. We came to Huntsville for New Year’s Eve and, thanks to an NUA upgrade, got a spacious, luxurious King Suite with a sleeper sofa. It had a soaking tub, a separate shower with a rainfall head and sprayer, and cold sparkling spring water in the fridge plus a room-temperature bottle for personal preference. The view of Big Spring Park was beautiful, with its Christmas and New Year decorations. We thoroughly enjoyed the stay and couldn’t fault anything.
Updated after a late-February 2026 stay, with this note added in early March 2026: I was charged more than the total on the booking confirmation, which included taxes and fees. When I called, the property said the difference was taxes, even though I booked directly through Marriott and haven’t had this discrepancy at other Marriott properties. I also never received the folio that’s normally sent at checkout. Marriott Elite services had no record of one either, and said the property told them the extra charge was taxes. I’ll involve my credit card company, the BBB, or whoever else needs to be involved. The behavior feels incredibly sketchy. This update is separate from any frustration I had with staff during the stay. Before that issue, I had a wonderful visit. The person who checked me in early on February 24 was incredibly friendly and accommodating. I think her name was Talisa. Thanks for a great stay. I’d come back if I’m in Huntsville.
The hospitality was the best part of my visit, from Alton at valet, who was friendly and helpful, to Katie at the desk, who shared useful insight about the hotel. The bartenders at Harvest Moon, Ryan, Kirsten, and DT, and at Vesper, Iman, Emily, and Michaela, were fantastic. I’m usually more of a beer-or-wine person, but the Garden Roots cocktail was really refreshing. A few little things still seem to be getting sorted out in this new property. It took my room a while to cool down, maybe the motion sensor controls it, the main shower spray couldn’t be adjusted, and the door needed an extra tug to shut. Those should be easy to fix. I had a great stay and will definitely be back.
