Super 8 Huron

Our granddaughter was excited to swim when we checked in, but the pool had beer caps, a huge clump of hair, and several Band-Aids in and around it. The hot tub was green. I reported it to the front desk, then waited an hour without anything being done. We decided to check out, but they said we couldn't get a refund until the next day because the manager wasn't there. When we came back the next morning, the manager refused to refund us.

The prices were higher than what other motels were charging, but the breakfast was poor quality and cold when served. The place smelled of curry, and the hot tub wasn't working.

Dirty, with the pool green and the hot tub drained, leaving a brown substance at the bottom. People from outside could get in, and the door never locked. Before 7 AM, workers were outside our door fighting and vacuuming. At 9 AM, a worker tried to enter our room and asked if we were staying or checking out. I said we'd check out at checkout time. This was the worst experience I've had. Do not stay at this disgusting place.

If you can't find somewhere else to stay, this place will do. We ended up here as a last resort for the All American Rejects concert. The rooms seem to have been renovated recently, but the bathrooms haven't changed. Shower pressure is awful, and the shower head is set way too low for anyone over 5'10". At 6'5", I had a rough time.
