Days Inn by Wyndham Hurricane Mills

The location worked well for us, close to restaurants and Loretta Lynn's Ranch, and I’d stay again. The staff were friendly, and the stay was fine for the price, though the hotel is dated. Our room was clean enough, but had a musty, unused smell. The bathroom was small and seemed to have had a leak near the exhaust fan, so it could use some work.

The staff were friendly and the area was quiet, and aside from the issues in the room, the stay was fine. The sheets were clean but stained, and cold air came in where the door seal was missing. The heater was noisy. The rooms are old and could really use a remodel.

The pool was enjoyable, and the staff were very friendly, except for one male member of the cleaning crew who watched us from a distance while we were in the water. When my sister in law got out, he hurried off. The pool chairs also left a white residue on my skin. The room was in really poor shape. The bedroom carpet was filthy, and after walking barefoot on it briefly, the bottoms of my feet were black. There was missing wallpaper trim and moulding, and one picture looked like it might fall. The bathroom floor and wall were dirty, with a pink stain on the wall. The toilet was damaged and only flushed properly sometimes, and the tub was lopsided. The switch by the bathroom light seemed like it was meant for the vent, but the vent didn't work. The bathroom light switch itself was outside the bathroom. Breakfast was just a choice of two kinds of muffins or an orange, with coffee, orange juice, or apple juice. The bed was clean enough and the room had AC, a fridge, and a shower, so those basics were adequate. I definitely won't be back.

There wasn't much open for food after 9pm, though the Loretta Lynn restaurant buffet is great at 6am. The location was okay. The rooms were okay too, but could use an upgrade, even a fresh coat of paint.
