The room was clean, though dated, and it wasn’t the most comfortable. It only had bar soap, with no shampoo or conditioner, and we were told at arrival that the Wi-Fi wasn’t working. Complimentary coffee in the lobby was available from 6-10 AM, and there were several restaurants nearby. Check-in and checkout were smooth. The property felt safe and clean throughout, with a well-lit parking lot and plenty of security cameras. A basic stay, but the cleanliness and safety mattered most to us. Solid 4/5.

Karen called the day after we were already on our way home to let us know we’d left an iPad in the room. She took it to the post office and mailed it back, and we received it today. We’re very grateful to her for doing that. The hotel staff were great and very helpful.

It was comfortable enough for one night, but the property needs a facelift. The parking lot is rough, walkways are falling apart, and some things have been held together with duct tape instead of being replaced. My non-smoking room also smelled like smoke. This could be a nice place once it gets the repairs it needs.

The staff are great and keep the motel clean. They change the towels regularly and refresh the room on time. I’d recommend it to anyone looking for a clean, nice motel in hurricane West Virginia.

My room is bigger than I expected, and it covers many of my needs. The prices seem very reasonable for what’s offered, and when I tell the desk about a problem, they act on it right away to make things easier. The people here are wonderful, and it feels more like home than a motel. Getting out onto the road can be a hassle because the motel sits at the bottom of a hill by Walmart, with lots of restaurants around. Still, there are more good points about the location than bad ones. I’d recommend it to friends and family.
