Coratel Inn & Suites by Jasper Hutchinson

The affordable price and quick, easy check-in are nice, but the cozy feel is what keeps me coming back. I've stayed here twice this month. The front desk folks are really kind, and the clean rooms come with complimentary water and coffee. The colorful bedding makes it feel more like a night at your grandparents' house than a hotel. It's warm and welcoming, so I'll stay here whenever I'm back in Hutch.

The owner was nice, and the room and bathroom were clean. The bathroom even has a heater. The bed was comfortable, with plenty of pillows, though they were a little flat. Breakfast is free and has cereal, juice, coffee, bagels, yogurt, bananas, and apples. Parking could use more space for pickups, and the train passing on and off made it a bit hard to sleep. Still, we plan to stay here when we pass through town.

This old-fashioned motel is right in the middle of town and has plenty of rooms, making it a good place to crash. The price is very affordable and the people are friendly. There's an outdoor pool, which I assume opens in summer. Housekeeping comes daily to clean and change towels if needed.

Chris, the owner, was so helpful and genuine. We were trying to get out of a horrible hotel at the last minute, and he gave me the prices over the phone before we had even arrived. He said he'd wait for us and held the rooms. We needed three, two with two queen beds and one with one queen. Since that last room wasn't available, he offered us a king for the queen price. He also let us check out at noon instead of 11 without any problem. The price was amazing, and the service was really good. The place feels so homey, like it's cared for with a lot of love. Everything in our rooms worked, and after we went to an event for a few hours, the trash had been replaced and everything was clean. I absolutely loved it here and recommend it.
