The people here made the stay memorable. When our fridge quit on day one, the front desk sorted it out immediately, and the breakfast crew were so warm it felt like being looked after by neighbors. On the snowy morning we left, one of them brought water to help loosen the ice covering our car. That saved us time, and we really appreciated it. There’s a grocery store close by, which was handy. The hotel feels a little dated, but it’s comfortable and has what you need.

That streetlight kept the room bright all night, and the curtains wouldn’t close enough to block it. If you need a dark room to sleep, this place may not work for you. Check-in was frustrating too: I couldn’t make out what the woman at the desk was saying and had to ask her to repeat herself several times. My hearing is fine.

I was given two beds instead of the king I booked, and there was a dog barking next door. No one could give me contact details for its owners, who weren’t in the room. The hotel said it had no other rooms and offered no help finding somewhere else to stay. They’d changed my reservation without telling me, downgraded the room, and wouldn’t support me. The worst hotel experience I’ve ever had. HORRIBLE.

I was here for work and found the king room clean and comfortable. Erica was a big help, and the staff were nice. There are lots of places to eat nearby, and Austin is about 25 minutes away.

We had a good breakfast, with lots of food and coffee, and everything else was wonderful. The one downside was the pillows: they had no support. Erica greeted us and looked after us really well. The rooms were clean, and I’d definitely stay again.
