The room was surprisingly clean, the bed was divine, and the huge jetted bathtub was a treat. I appreciated the Dove products in the bathroom, and the gym was very nice. The toilet was unusually low, which meant bending down farther than expected. It didn't bother me, though I can see it being tough for someone with back problems. There was a strong, pungent smell from the indoor pool, and the hotel could use more landscaping outside. Check-in was quick and easy, and the staff member was extremely kind. The Saturday night bartender sounded a bit abrasive on the phone when I ordered two dishes, so I wouldn't order room service here again. My Caesar salad was drenched in Italian dressing, the chicken was very dry, and the soggy Parmesan crisps didn't go well with it. The corn chip strips on top didn't help either. The salt-and-pepper wings were good, but a little plain; some of the other flavors might be more exciting. I'd stay here again, but would get food outside the room service menu.

The location was fantastic, with two pools and a nice cocktail lounge. The rooms, though, felt dated, with bulky furniture that left little space to move, dark carpets, and inadequate lighting. Since the hotel is near the beach, lighter decor and slimmer furniture would suit the setting better. Unlike most hotels where we've stayed, coffee and tea weren't available free around the clock. The beds and pillows were extremely soft, and we sank into them. Getting out could be a challenge for older guests, and the softness didn't seem good for the back or neck.

We got an upgraded room as IHG platinum members, and the front desk handled everything smoothly and politely. Our one-bedroom suite had a balcony, two bathrooms, and plenty of space, and it was comfortable and convenient. The many outlets made my husband happy. There was no facial soap in the room, but the front desk brought some when we asked. The location in the middle of Cape Cod made it easy to get around. Strongly recommend.

The location is about the only real plus. The hotel itself wasn't terrible, and the Wi-Fi was decent, but the room felt dated and the view was lousy. There wasn't even a microwave. The toilet was right beside the shower, so sitting on it meant turning sideways.

Our group of 50 was there on a bus tour for three nights. The rooms were clean, and the staff were especially friendly and accommodating. Breakfast had lots of choices and was delicious. Most of us were too busy to try the pool or hot tub, but I'd recommend staying here.
