Don’t skip breakfast, it was spectacular. We had a lovely stay at Inn the Woods, with a very comfortable room. I also liked sitting on the covered porch and watching the birds at the feeder.

Harry was a kind, sweet host who was always there when we needed help and treated us with respect. Breakfast varied, from omelettes to waffles, and every meal was astonishing. I also enjoyed seeing the bird feeder outside each morning. The inn is tucked away in a gorgeous forest, and the suite was cozy with plenty to keep us occupied. It has a small kitchen with a microwave, sink, and little fridge, handy if you’re staying more than a day. If I return to Hyde Park, I’d definitely stay here again.
Harry is a welcoming host and makes a terrific homemade breakfast that keeps you going all day. The B&B sits among beautiful old trees in a wooded setting, with lovely views from the room and plenty of birds and nature around. Local attractions are still close by. We had an excellent stay and highly recommend it.
The Treetop Suite felt like a home away from home, and the room was top-notch. It’s a peaceful getaway from the city, and I’ve never seen stars shine so brightly. Our hosts, Harry and Valarie, made a spectacular breakfast. We could get to every hiking trail and farm we planned to visit by Uber. A 10/10 stay.
We looked forward to Harry’s gourmet breakfasts every day. The website photos really show the food you get: beautifully presented and delicious. Harry and Valarie were gracious hosts and had suggestions for local places to visit. Inn the Woods is in a distinctive Frank Lloyd Wright-style neighborhood, along a quiet, tree-lined lane in Hyde Park. The Tree Top Suite suited its name, making us feel like we were in a treehouse, connected to the surroundings. It’s spacious, modern, peaceful, clean, and equipped with everything we wanted. There’s plenty to do nearby, and local restaurants have raised their food game thanks to the Culinary Institute of America, just a few miles away.
