Breakfast had waffles you could make yourself, along with oatmeal and other continental options. The staff were accommodating when I asked for two ground-floor rooms because some of my group had health issues that made stairs difficult. Housekeeping kept to themselves. Towels were changed daily, while other service required a request. My only room complaint was a slight dip in the bathtub in room 108, which looked like it might be a crack in the fiberglass.

The little greetings from the housekeeper, a good morning and a wave as we left, made the visit nicer. She was so sweet and always smiling. Taylor was wonderful to chat with, and the rest of the staff were great too. Our family of three had a spacious, clean room with comfortable beds. We'd stay again.

We drove eight hours for a family funeral, and this whole experience was wrong in every way. I asked if there was a pool, and the employee kept saying yes while pointing me through the signing process. After I had signed everything, she showed me a hot tub and then admitted she meant hot tub, not pool. Because of that mistake, I tried to cancel the booking and was charged $100. I plan to challenge the charge when it appears on my card and contact other places to report what happened. We were charged because your employee messed up and lied. This is wrong, and it feels like stealing.

For an over-the-road driver, Super 8 has usually been just the right price for me, until this one. It's way overpriced for a Super 8, charging Hilton prices. Less than a mile east down the road, though, there's a little motel for over-the-road drivers at $60 a night. I have the praise of this place.
