Tru by Hilton Idaho Falls

The value was a pleasant surprise: our family of four paid $112 for the night, and we could check in two hours early. We'd broken down in Idaho Falls while driving to California for Thanksgiving, and the staff understood our situation. We slept well in a clean room with clean beds, and the two window curtains made it completely dark, which I really need because I hate waking up to bright morning sun. The shower pressure was amazing. The shampoo, conditioner, body wash, lotion, and hand soap were good quality and smelled great. We also used the pool, hot tub, and gym. The lobby downstairs has a pool table and games we didn't try, but it was nice knowing they were there. Applebees is right next door, so we walked there for dinner, and there's a nice river walk nearby. Breakfast was hot and really good, and I loved having coffee and tea available around the clock. For $112, we got a lot, and I'd definitely stay again.

The food was hot and good, and the rooms were tidy and clean. Staff were friendly, too. When noise from another room got excessive, I called the front desk and they dealt with it quickly.

I don't understand all the positive reviews. Our room was extremely dirty: toothpaste left on the bathroom counters, floors that looked like they hadn't been mopped in weeks, splatter on the walls, and cobwebs along the ceiling.

We liked the comfortable, inviting lobby and game area, and the rooms had a nice, distinctive feel. Breakfast was good and the stay was a great value. The hotel is close to the river, within walking distance of a couple of restaurants, and easy to reach from the highway.
