The staff made a good impression, greeting people warmly as they came and went, and the breakfast attendant was especially attentive. The breakfast itself was really good. My room was spacious and well organized, and the hotel was very clean. TownPlace Suites in Iron Mountain, Michigan is in the downtown area, too. I had a great stay and would highly recommend it.

On all three of my business trips to Iron Mountain, I’ve stayed at this Towneplace Suites. It’s been comfortable and quiet each time, with plenty of parking and a free breakfast, which I appreciate. No issues, and that’s really all I ask.

I was ready to sleep and didn’t bother calling for different pillows, figuring it would be fine. They were flat, though, and the mattress wasn’t the greatest. Even so, I had a good stay.

I liked being able to walk to several nice restaurants from TownePlace Suites by Marriott in Iron Mountain, Michigan. The property was exceptionally clean, and my room was comfortable and well kept. Everyone I dealt with was welcoming, friendly, and genuinely helpful. I had a wonderful stay and would highly recommend the hotel to anyone visiting the area.

The hotel itself is beautiful, but the customer service was poor. Both times I went to the breakfast buffet today, the eggs and coffee were empty, so I’m sitting in a restaurant parking lot to get breakfast. At the front desk, I waited about 3-5 minutes for an employee to appear. Then I explained that my wife had a severe, aggressive migraine and asked for a little extra time before checkout so she could sleep it off. They denied the request, saying my Silver Elite status didn’t qualify me for late checkout and that I had to leave at the standard time. It wasn’t because they needed the room or lacked staff. I’m only a few nights away from the 25 nights for Gold status they said I needed, but the person I spoke with showed no grace or compassion and said my status was the only reason I couldn’t stay a little longer. I’ll be walking my wife up soon. 👍🏼 You missed a chance to make me an even more loyal Marriott Bonvoy member.
