Silver Pines Lodge

Downtown is just a four-minute walk, and there's a river running beside the cabins with a roughly two-mile trail along its bed. The cabins are warm and cozy, and front desk Joe welcomed us so kindly. It's a great place for family time, with dogs welcome too. We had fun and adventure here, though we wished we'd had more time to explore the whole community!

We stayed in room 21 (Aspen), and the whole place was beautiful, roomy, and very clean. My family and I found it quite affordable, which was a nice surprise, and the service was great. It's right down the street from the town square, and it's very dog-friendly. The internet wasn't working well during our stay, so we couldn't really use it. In the end, that gave us a chance to disconnect for a bit. I hope to come back with my family.

After a long road trip, Joe at the reception was a huge help and made check-in much easier. We stayed in the Baby Bear cabin, which was clean, dog-friendly, and had a great fireplace. The refrigerator and stove both worked well, as did all the appliances. Silver pine Lodge was everything I expected and more. I'd give it 10 stars if I could. We had an awesome trip, will be back soon, and will recommend it to friends and coworkers.

We had a terrible stay. We booked a room with two beds, and the larger room was confirmed earlier that afternoon. When we went to get in that night, someone else was already in it. They gave us a key to a smaller room with just one bed, so my friend had to sleep on the floor. The owner admitted the mistake but still charged us for the more expensive room. All night, a bright patio light clicked on loudly and lit up our room every 30 minutes. Light sleepers should know about that. There were also strange stains across the bathroom floor. The amount we were charged was not worth it.
