Cambria Hotel El Centro - Imperial

The room itself had several problems: the air conditioner made a crumpling-paper noise, the faucet pressure was low, and the shower rattled loudly while taking a while to heat up. We were put at the end of the hall beside what I believe was the housekeeping room, and loud doors woke us early on the first morning. The room was still untouched when we came back the next evening, even though we had seen cleaning staff nearby. Housekeeping said rooms are only cleaned every three days and asked whether I had requested service at the desk. I was shocked, given how highly rated and expensive this hotel is for Imperial Valley. They did bring extra towels and toilet paper and empty the trash when I called, but I shouldn't have needed to ask. The next night, a child ran back and forth overhead around 2:00 am, with heavy footsteps too, probably from a parent. The ceiling and walls are so thin. I called the front desk twice, and it finally stopped after nearly half an hour. It started again around 7:00 am, so we barely slept before our 11:00 am checkout. At checkout I raised it again. The front desk employee said they'd had many complaints about this, apologized, and said they would review the cameras, but offered nothing for two sleepless nights. I then had a two-hour drive home and struggled to keep my eyes open. I have a disabled placard. There was accessible parking the first day, but the next day the only open accessible spot was for EV charging, so I had to use general parking. When we got in the car to leave, I found a large chip in the windshield. This was the worst stay I've ever had. Edited 2/3/26: The owner allegedly replied to my review and sent me back to the management team for a resolution. If he was the owner, why couldn't he sort this out himself? It feels like a run-around, especially since he didn't answer when I asked for the management team's contact information. I'm still very upset about this experience.

We felt very well looked after during our weekend with family at the Cambria Hotel. Lauren at the front desk was especially welcoming and helpful from the moment we arrived. The restaurant was delicious, and our room was comfortable with a beautiful design. The atmosphere was incredible. Such a perfect getaway, and the hospitality was amazing. Highly recommend!

It's not easy to find a decent hotel around here, and I like places that are clean, nonsmoking, and have no carpet. This one had laminate floors, spotless bathrooms, and a clean, comfortable bed. The restaurant's food was pretty good, and the modern design still felt cozy. I'd rate it 9/10 and recommend staying here.

The hotel food was quite good, and most of the staff were great. The exception was the blonde woman on the overnight shift. She seemed very unhappy and was quite rude all three nights we stayed.
