The homemade butternut squash soup and grilled cheese were still a favorite, and the prices were very affordable. Even on a cloudy day, customers kept coming in, lots of them repeat visitors or people who’d heard about it from others. I first came here with my father about 40 years ago, once or twice a month from Seattle, so I’m grateful Kathy and her husband have restored the place to its former grandeur and made it even more spectacular. On a later visit, Blair was a wonderful host and brought my family all the way from Florida to see it. They love beautiful design and took loads of pictures of the interior, especially the quilts, pictures, floors, and bathrooms. The food was good, too. It’s a lovely place to rest your soul. Kathy and Blair have made it warm and welcoming.

We spent our anniversary at this historic inn and loved the peaceful setting. We enjoyed wandering around the little town and relaxing by the river. One evening we heard an owl calling and a family of deer came by. Our room was lovely and comfortable, and the staff were gracious and helpful. We’re already planning to come back.

I started the morning with coffee on the front porch, which was just right. The owner also suggested a nearby hike, and I really enjoyed it. My room at Bush House Inn was clean and comfortable, and dinner at the restaurant was delicious. I’d definitely recommend it!

I arrived late on Monday, but the lady was really nice and helpful, and checking in was easy. The room was very clean, though a little stuffy. The ceiling fan and open window did the job. You can hear the train, but it hardly bothered me. I was disappointed to miss the restaurant and cafe.

Booking the whole inn for our wedding guests made the event feel intimate, and I’m so glad we picked this beautiful spot. The historic rooms are adorable, and the area is lovely. The staff were wonderful to work with. Chef Fabian and his crew served everyone so well that all our guests loved it and raved about how much fun they had.
