Sea Scape Oceanfront Motel

We’ve been coming back for years and have stayed in pretty much every room. Each has its own appeal. The staff are wonderful and helpful, and being right on the beach is a big part of what makes the accommodations so good. Easily worthy of five stars.

The room was small but reasonably clean, and the location was decent. We got in a few minutes after 4 even though the office was said to be open until 5, but a text explained how to check in after hours, so getting inside was no problem. Parking is limited, and some of the rooms are lived in by residents. I can’t really rate the service.

Uda was friendly and kind, and upgraded me to an apartment with a full kitchen and dining room. I came to Sea Scape Motel for a mini-staycation and loved the quiet, peaceful feel. The beach view at the back is gorgeous, with wooden steps down to the water, plus an outdoor shower and foot rinse. There were no upstairs neighbors making noise. The cleanliness, calm, beach access, and staff were all much better here than at the larger chain hotels nearby. I’d highly recommend staying here.

My wife and I came for a getaway and had such a great time that we’re already planning another visit. The place has a distinctive vibe and feels intimate, even better than we expected. We also had great experiences at local establishments during the trip.
