Windemere Inn by the Sea

My friend and I stayed five days in February and were very happy with the inn, the room, the staff, and the food. Kim, Amanda, Marilyn, and the rest of the team were marvelous, kind, and helpful. Meals were exceptional and tailored to guests’ dietary needs or preferences. Our schedule and the weather left little time for the beach, but towels and chairs were available. The rooms were spotless and beautifully appointed, and there were shared spaces with activities, plus a heated pool and koi pond for relaxing outside. Windemere Inn gets top marks from me, and I hope to return.

Luke helped me out of a transportation bind even though he had no obligation to, and I’m especially grateful. Kim and the whole staff did everything they could to make our stay perfect. Breakfast was delicious each morning, the pool area was nice, and the beach was only 40-50 yards away. My wife and I stayed February 9-15, 2026, in Windcrest by the Koi pond. The location, accommodations, and service were all excellent. We’re on the waiting list for all of next January.

After losing my husband five months ago, I find peaceful places near one of my three children help keep the blues away. Windemere Inn worked out so well, with my two boys close by, and I’d love to return often. Kim welcomed me warmly, showed me around, and let me choose the room I liked best. The one she recommended when I called was the one I chose. It was very comfortable, with a small ocean view from an east-facing balcony. I sat out there during one of my son’s visits before taking a long walk on the peaceful beach. Breakfast was really good, and it was convenient to have a Kuerig machine since I usually have coffee before 7. Thank you, Kim and her lovely, kind helper. I hope to see you again on another warm weekend.

A lovely, quaint bed and breakfast just steps from the beach. Our room was beautifully decorated, and breakfast was amazing. I’m vegetarian, and they were very accommodating. It was perfect for a couples’ weekend away.
