For my husband’s birthday, the staff left a handwritten card, chocolates, cologne, champagne, and a candle in our room. Bob at the front desk was especially wonderful, though everyone was kind and helpful. We loved the room service, and breakfast was lovely. There were three kinds of candy free at the front desk all day and night, and the happy hour was excellent. We didn’t use the free bikes, but they were cute and there were plenty available. The building is older, but immaculately kept and full of charm. It felt intimate and quiet, even during social times. We spent a long weekend at the French Quarter Inn celebrating his birthday, and it was a big part of our wonderful first trip to Charleston. We’ll definitely return.

On our wedding day, champagne and chocolate covered strawberries appeared as a surprise. It meant so much and made the day even more memorable. We had a beautiful, spacious room with a balcony, and breakfast delivered to the room each morning was a real luxury. Nightly turndown included water and chocolate, and there was even a card with the next day’s weather. The bathroom was lovely, the location was perfect for everything we needed, and the staff took care of every detail. We enjoyed the cookies and milk each night and the candy station too. We wanted for nothing during our elopement weekend at the French Quarter Inn. We’ll absolutely return. It made our Charleston trip feel truly special.

Wine and cheese hour, breakfast, and cookies with milk were such nice extras. There was hot water, coffee, sparkling water, and more available all day. The service was excellent, the property is gorgeous, and the location is convenient. Rooms were clean and well maintained. If you want a luxury hotel within easy walking distance of town, this is the place.

Bob greeted us at the front desk, and soon after checking in we were offered a glass of champagne. The room was amazing, and the food was beautiful and delicious, but the hospitality was what really set the stay apart. Bob, Izzy at the bar, and the rest of the team went above and beyond. The complimentary breakfast, wine and cheese, and milk and cookies were lovely added perks. The French Quarter Inn is a gorgeous property, a solid five out of five. Our first visit to Charleston, and we loved this hotel. The room was spacious and the bed comfy. Every day they had cheese and wine, along with breakfast, and milk and cookies around 8pm. Valet parking was very convenient. The location was perfect, beside the Market and right in the french quarter.
