My husband spoke with management this morning about the problems, and the manager was very thoughtful and went above and beyond to compensate us. We hadn’t expected compensation. We just wanted them to know what had gone wrong so it could be fixed for the next guest. We’ll be back next year and look forward to the improvements. We’ve stayed here for a week every year for four years and had always been happy with the service and accommodations. This visit was a lot worse. We usually book an ocean side room with a balcony in the South tower, with a clean room and gorgeous view. This time we were in the main hotel, looking at the top of the restaurant roof and hearing its noise. The hallway and room smelled musty, and there was mold. The armoire bottom around the fridge was buckled, with a warped piece of plywood inside, and the fridge slanted downward. When we asked to have the room cleaned, they made the bed without changing the sheets and took all the towels without leaving replacements. The sink has drained slowly since we arrived; we told the front desk and felt brushed off. The poolside chairs had mold or algae and rips, too. I don’t know what changed over the past year, but we were extremely disappointed on many levels, especially for what we paid. There are plenty of other oceanfront hotels, and I thought we’d choose somewhere else next year.

If you can, get an oceanfront room with a balcony. In my opinion it’s a must, especially if you’re there for a SpaceX launch from Cape Canaveral. The view could be a once in a lifetime sight. The building isn’t the newest, and some rooms show it, but it’s a terrific beachside hotel with a great restaurant. Evenings can be lively, with live music and more. Excellent place to stay, highly recommend.

We held Brevard Home Cleaning’s annual event for 60 people at Crowne Plaza Melbourne Oceanfront, and it was amazing. The team went way beyond what I expected. Miguel, Luis, Clara, Jordy, Denis, and everyone else were kind, attentive, and helpful through the whole event. They made sure we had what we needed, and the service from the chef to the bartender was outstanding. You could see the care and professionalism in every detail. We left grateful and extremely happy. Highly recommend!

The ocean view was amazing, and the room was clean, comfortable, and quiet. The hotel is beautiful and has everything that made this vacation feel perfect. We did have an issue with the door. I called the front desk, and Dylan was at my door in two or three minutes, ready to fix it. I was impressed by how capable and friendly he was, and how eager he was to sort it out. The staff were always helpful and attentive to my needs. The restaurant servers were wonderful, and the food has me wanting to come back. I assure you I will.

The front desk was personable and funny, and they upgraded me to a king room with a balcony. We checked in later in the day, so there was no wait at the desk or for valet. The room was just right for what we needed. Room service from Longboards arrived quickly and was delicious, margarita included. The lobby was immaculate, the pool was clean, and the beach was easy to get to. I’d absolutely stay again.
