The Lodge at Indian Lake

The views are great, and the rooms were really nice. My sister had her wedding here last week, and the staff made the whole experience easy. The bartenders and everyone else were so friendly and accommodating, and the food was delicious. We've already been talking about coming back for family vacations. Thanks for making it such a great week!

We called The Lodge from about an hour away while traveling, since we weren't sure how far we'd get that day, and luckily they had a room. It turned out to be such a fun surprise. The balcony looked out over Indian Lake, and breakfast and snacks were included. The place has a cool, funky atmosphere, everyone on staff was incredibly nice, and our bartender was amazing. The food was out of this world, especially the best flatbread I've ever had. Loved staying here and highly recommend it!

Having everything for our wedding at The Lodge made the weekend so much easier. We had both the ceremony and reception there, and the package came with a huge bridal suite that was perfect for getting ready. There are several wedding packages and separate alcohol options to fit different budgets, and ours included a DJ, so that was one less planning detail. Jason recommended a great local caterer, and the food was excellent. Jason (owner), Michele (coordinator), and the whole staff went above and beyond to make the day and weekend feel perfect. Julie, our bartender, helped us create signature drinks and was amazing. John Wiggins was a fantastic DJ, easy to communicate with, and kept everyone on the dance floor. The Lodge is beautiful in every season. I can't thank Jason and Michelle enough, and we'll keep coming back for years.

The staff are extremely nice, and so far the food and atmosphere have been great. Prices are a little high for the area, but about what I'd expect at a resort. I tried the Wednesday-only crabs last night. The menu didn't explain much, so I wasn't sure what would come, but it was a salad with half a crab cluster and lots of peel-and-eat shrimp. It was really good, though if I had the choice, I'd take a full cluster and less shrimp. I've also had the steak, which was delicious and cooked to the requested medium rare. Portions are very decent.
