Beach Cottage 1112 Apartment

We came as a family of eight and have been very happy with the place so far. Our original booking fell through after the double hurricanes Helene and Milton, but switching to this location was smooth. The first-floor condo has three beds and two baths, plus a Lani with access to the pool and hot tub. The grill and blackstone are great, and dinner sunsets right at the condo are fantastic. Being literally steps from the beach is a must-have at least once when visiting Florida. The elevator still doesn't work, and the parking garage needs a little love, but the temporary sand dunes remind us of home in Michigan. We'd highly recommend it.

The Beach Cottage was an awesome place to spend our vacation. It's right on the beach, in a great location, and the unit we rented was beautiful. The owner was lovely to work with and made us feel like family. The pool and hot tub deck was the best I've seen. If you get a chance to go, give this place a try. We'll definitely be back!

The room itself was amazing, but dealing with Vacasa was a nightmare. My wife and I rented a condo here for our anniversary, and two days into our seven-day trip they texted and then called to say we had to leave because a storm was coming. I understood that, but they moved our reservation to Naples, Florida, which was hit by storm surges and 8 to 12 feet of water. You couldn't reach the unit by car, maybe by boat, which I didn't have, and even emergency responders were under water. Meanwhile, the unit here where we were staying was in better condition. I asked for a credit for the rest of our stay to use later, and they said, "We are not offering credits or refunds at this time." I'll never use Vacasa again. Never rent from them.

Do not use their website. It seems like a scam: there are errors, and dates aren't blocked out. I found the same properties on Vrbo and Airbnb, contacted those hosts, and was told they weren't available. The site asks for payment through methods that don't offer refunds and claims things are there or available when they're not. I'm not sure what happened to the real website, but this one isn't real. They also don't have a working phone and only communicate through chat. This condominium needs to fix it ASAP or a lot of people will be heartbroken.
