Element by Marriott Indianapolis Carmel

Breakfast was fresh and well stocked, and we liked having an egg station where they made food to order. Our room was roomy and comfortable, with space to spread out, which worked well for our family and a longer stay. Element Indianapolis was extremely clean from the start, and the whole visit felt easy and pleasant. We’d happily stay there again and recommend it.

I’m at this Element about once a month and have tried plenty of other Element hotels. This one is my favorite. It’s updated, clean, and has good amenities, but the care from the staff is what makes the stay five-star. The front desk is always welcoming and helpful, and the breakfast chef goes out of his way with the fresh omelettes.

On my first work trip here, the room was great and the staff were friendly. I travel to Indy often and had hoped to find a dependable, comfortable hotel near my office. The next time, there was a plumbing problem and a light went out in my room. The staff fixed both as soon as I told them. On my third visit, though, I found that someone had been sick in the room before I checked in and it hadn’t been cleaned up properly. It still smelled, with a damp carpet stain and dried mess on the wall and bed frame. Staff quickly moved me to another room, and I have no complaint about their service. But after problems on two of my three stays, I can’t get past that experience right now, so I’ve decided to try another hotel.

We came from Florida for my Purdue graduation (BOILER UP!) and stayed Friday through Sunday. The staff treated us like friends in their home, and the GM was probably the friendliest man I’ve ever met. Everything was pristine and clean, the food was delicious, and the beds were cozy and smelled like fresh linen. I’ve traveled all over and haven’t stayed anywhere like this. I’d fly back just to spend another night there. Thanks for making our already perfect graduation weekend even better!
