La Quinta Inn Indianapolis Airport / Lynhurst

Management moved us to another room after we explained the problems, and that room was a little better, but not by much. We found someone's medication under the bed there too. The first room was filthy and smelled of rotten food. There was pizza on the sheets, with its box, other trash, and a cigarette under the bed. The sheets clearly hadn't been changed. A pillowcase had been put on inside out, and the pillow underneath was stained and smelled terrible. Those pillows should've been thrown out and replaced. Paint was peeling off the walls as well. I'm not impressed at all, and I'll never stay here again.

The front desk attendant was super nice, and the economical room was mostly what I expected. But the hotel needs upgrades and touch-ups. It just felt like bed bugs and dirt, and then I actually found stool smeared on the toilet. I'm beyond upset. I have an office two blocks away, but I know not to come back. Just nasty.

The staff were friendly, but this was one of the worst places I've stayed recently. I travel a lot, and every other hotel near the airport was sold out. Towels were stained, the toilet seat was broken, and there was almost no toilet paper, sitting on the toilet cover. There was no soap at the sink.

The staff are good and try to help as much as they can. They offer an airport shuttle for an additional $5, plus complimentary breakfast. It's also close to the airport, though you'll have to drive into the city if you're visiting Indianapolis. The hotel itself is old. Bedsheets, curtains and covers look worn, like they're old stock from good Wyndham hotels, even if they may have been washed. The pool was closed, the windows were dirty, and the carpets were old. The maintenance team is good.
