Ruta Motel

The couple who run the Ruta are lovely and attentive, and they made the place feel like home. My Fiancé and I stayed about two weeks during a time when money was tight. They were understanding and welcoming, and we were able to work out a plan that let us stay. Since this is their family business and they depend on the income, don't lowball them. If something comes up, though, be open with them and see if they can help. They will if they can. We found the location close to everything we needed, which was a big plus, but the area can feel sketchy and draws all kinds of people. Each morning we walked half a block for fresh coffee and snacks, and that was always pleasant. At night, especially as a woman, I'd be more careful. We ordered Uber Eats instead of going out, or my Mom brought us dinner. The motel itself was quiet and felt safe. We loved our memorable stay.
