OYO Hotel Ingleside TX

I’m a single mom with three kids, and my youngest and I have the worst allergies in the family. While staying in room 114, we had headaches, sniffles, and nonstop sneezing. Three days later, we’re still having skin reactions. I worked at a hotel for six years where they cut corners during construction and wouldn’t admit the mistakes afterward. I’d seen the same kinds of issues there, so I expected the mold to affect us this way. The room smelled of mold, and the internet makes this place look like a hotel. It’s a coastal motel with rusty metal fixtures in the bathroom and around the lights, holes in the walls, water damage, and electrical outlets that don’t work. The smell alone was bad. It wasn’t worth $165.

We got a great deal and were lucky to find a room on a busy Saturday during Shrimoree Festival. I’ll definitely come back on my next visit.

We chose this hotel expecting to make good memories, but things went badly because of the laundry lady. We’re still waiting for management to review the video, and we’re still trying to get the extra $100 charge removed. Next time, we’ll stay somewhere we don’t have to go to trial and pay a fee for looking Mexican.

Good price, good breakfast, and a good spot if you’re here for work. The guy at the front desk was really helpful. They were all very helpful!
