Cloud 9 Inn LAX

Inside, our room was spotless and modern, with nice floors, a TV, and a fridge. They brought towels soon after we arrived, and I ended up enjoying the stay enough to recommend it. Parking was a little tight. We booked at the last minute and were skeptical at first. The exterior felt eerie rather than dirty or welcoming, though maybe I felt that way because I’m not from LA and found the whole city unwelcoming. We were also told early check-in would cost $15 per hour, even though the policy said $15 per hour for late checkout regardless of check-in time. So arriving early could cost $30 or more. They don’t accept military ID, so bring a driver’s license.

For the price, this inn was clean, comfortable, and handy if you have an early flight or need to be near the airport or a rental car place. The front desk person was always available. It was a bit noisy by the airport, and the walls are thin. Softer room lighting and a shower floor mat would be nice, but otherwise I had no complaints.

We stayed in room 316 on Valentine’s Day. The front desk made sure we had what we needed before sending us up. The room was a good size, clean, and smelled nice. Great customer service, and I’ll stay here again.
