La Quinta Inn and Suites by Wyndham Torrance Redondo Beach

The price was great, and I'd stay here again. It's well located for getting to places with frequent concerts and sports events. The standard room was quiet and had two queen beds, a full bathroom, microwave, fridge, and work desk. The A/C worked well, the beds were comfortable, and the shampoo smelled really good.

The parking setup seems risky: the ground-floor lot is only about 20 meters from the intersection, with a single entrance and exit in the same spot. Cars coming in have to wait a long time in the right-turn lane, so it seems easy to hit something coming out. Parking inside costs $15, which is cheap, but think about the danger. At the desk, they required an online booking. After I paid, they said the money hadn't arrived, so I paid twice. The refund didn't come until the next day, and what happened to the promised $50 deposit? If you don't want to feel ripped off, don't stay here.

Once I got out of the Elevator, the place looked and smelled nice and clean. The location felt somewhat sketchy at first, and there was a homeless person in the parking lot. My room smelled good, had plenty of towels, a comfortable bed and pillows, and strong water pressure with lots of hot water. I needed to talk with a manager, but the staff helped as much as their position allowed. The parking rate is only 15$, which is wonderful. I'd stay again!

We stayed two nights with the family and had a positive experience. The room was clean, the beds comfortable, and it was quiet and peaceful. The neighborhood felt safe, and parking was free for guests. Highly recommended!
