Richmond Marriott Short Pump

Whenever I'm in Richmond, this is my go-to hotel. Being close to Short Pump, shopping, dining, and major highways makes getting around really convenient. The rooms are spacious, comfortable, and thoughtfully laid out, with a clean, well-kept feel and nice attention to detail. After a long day, it's easy to relax here. The staff are genuinely welcoming, friendly, and professional every time, from check-in through check-out. They consistently go above and beyond and make each visit comfortable and stress-free. I always look forward to staying here and recommend it to anyone visiting the Richmond area.

A five-star stay from start to finish. Everyone I dealt with was welcoming, professional, and attentive, and check-in went quickly and smoothly. Service was consistently high throughout my visit. My room was spacious, quiet, and comfortable, with a great bed, modern furnishings, and useful details that made it easy to relax or work. The hotel was spotless and well maintained, and housekeeping did a fantastic job. The location in the heart of Short Pump is another plus, with shopping, restaurants, and major roads close by while the hotel itself stays calm and upscale. The amenities were what you'd expect from a top-tier Marriott. I'd absolutely come back and recommend it to anyone visiting the Richmond area for work or leisure.

Those blackout shades were perfect for sleeping in total darkness, and the fries that came with room service were salted just right. The menu had some unusual choices, though the meal was pricey. Staff were friendly and helpful, my bed was very comfortable, and my room was close to the elevator.

The room was clean, the check-in went smoothly, and the room service was delicious. Those were the bright spots. The bathroom had no door, so from the couch you could watch someone sitting on the toilet. My wife and I are comfortable with each other, luckily, and thankfully we didn't get travelers' stomach. The fries were the best I've ever had. The bed was hard, and the pillows were flat and unsupportive. The heating and AC worked well, and the blinds kept the light out. I wish the TV had more apps I could sign into.
