The staff have made a real difference for me and my children during a difficult transition. The manager and Ms. Tiffany have been amazing, showing us kindness, understanding, and compassion. Their professionalism and warmth mean a lot, and genuine care like that stays with you. Tru by Hilton is beautiful and seriously top tier when it comes to cleanliness. There’s a relaxing lounge where you can hang out, play games, watch TV, work out, or use the pool. It feels welcoming and like more than just a hotel stay. I’m truly grateful for the comfort and support we’ve had here. Whether you’re traveling for vacation or another reason, I don’t think you can go wrong staying here. The whole team helped make this a positive experience. Thank you all again 💙

We’ve stayed at other Tru hotels and had good experiences, but this one was a huge disappointment. The new hotel opened in Feb 2026, yet management doesn’t seem to have it together. At 1 pm we got a text saying our room was ready, which really helped with our schedule. When we arrived at 1:30, the desk said it wasn’t ready. They checked again and told us it was ready about five minutes later. No big deal. When we came back from our event around 8:30 pm, one group had taken over the lobby and was being very loud. Then kids and teens ran up and down our floor, yelling and opening and closing doors from 9 pm onward. Quiet hours are posted as 10 pm to 7 am. Around 11, I called the front desk to ask them to handle it. The party was apparently still going in the lobby, and I could barely hear the employee. Whatever she did worked, because it wasn’t a problem after that. Breakfast was supposed to be ready at 6 am, according to the lobby sign, but it wasn’t. We had to pay extra at a restaurant. I’d avoid this one and pick one of the many other hotels in the area.

I came for a business trip and was impressed by the welcome from the whole staff. It’s a colorful, cool hotel with a great fitness center, good breakfast, and coffee available all day. I felt very safe and enjoyed the hospitality enough to book my next business stay at another Tru hotel by Hilton. I’ll also book this one again when I’m back through Richmond. Keep up the great hospitality!

Room 424 was clean, fresh, quiet, and just right for arriving late. The heat and AC worked great, and Angela was super helpful. The hotel is only three weeks old. There was no ironing board or coffee maker in the room, but I’d stay here again in a minute.
