The location is great, but the motel needs an upgrade and the management could at least pretend to be civil. They charged for fresh towels or sheets, and you have to rent kitchen utensils for a few dollars. There were no frills, no coffee maker or coffee in the room, and no kitchen utensils provided. At check-in we got a long lecture about smoking in the room and a $200 charge, despite us not smoking and never having smoked. Meanwhile the manager, employees, and guests smoked all day just outside the front and back doors. It felt like a nursing home, with people hanging around the entrance chain-smoking every day. The last night, a very large and rowdy covet group was loud all night outside our window in the parking lot and in their rooms, slamming doors and partying. At checkout, they said they'd be back next year. We won't stay there again. Just an odd vibe.

The coffee is very good, and they also have tea and hot cocoa. Rooms were clean and well cleaned, the staff friendly, and parking was good. It's right off the main road and a block from the hospital. One small con: the vending machines don't show prices. There's no room cleaning tip envelope, but you can get an envelope at the front desk. All in all, I highly recommend it!

The lobby was clean, with complementary coffee available all day, creamers and sweeteners, and a bowl of fruit. Check-in was easy, and all the staff were courteous. Rooms were clean, sparse, and unassuming, but bring whatever you need. The kitchenette was completely bare, without even a complementary coffee machine. The bathroom felt dated, and the shower mat was yellowed. We got one bath towel and one washcloth per person for the whole stay, no hair dryer, and no daily service.

I was having surgery right across the street, and the staff were kind and compassionate to me. They had a great demeanor with everyone coming in. I'd suggest this place to anyone, especially if you need to go to the hospital.
