That highway was exactly the one I needed, and the woman at the desk was really nice. For 60 bucks I got a small room with a twin bed, a bathroom, a tiny fridge, and a TV with no remote or controls, so it may as well not have been there. I could overlook the one roach under the bath mat, since it’s Southern California, but the noise was too much. I was in room 105, right beside the room where the cleaning lady apparently lives. She talked all night, with constant chatter and trips in and out from 10pm to 6am. Honestly, I would’ve slept better in my truck on the roadside. The water wasn’t safe, either, so she gave me a bottle.

The location worked because there wasn’t anywhere else to stay, but the place was unclean. The bathroom door was broken, and we found a used toothbrush and a needle. It felt like something out of a movie.

I felt safe here, and the rooms were cozy and very clean. The manager goes out of her way to make your stay a good one, and the people were great, from management to the maid. I’ve stayed in lots of hotels, and I’d recommend this place to anyone passing through or from around there. It’s a good place to stay, so I give it a thumbs up and five stars.

The place is cheap, so I wasn’t expecting much, but a clean bed or room should be the minimum. The room seemed clean, yet the bed still had hair and dirt from the previous guest or guests.
