Willow greeted us at the desk with a smile after our long road trip, and things only improved from there. She was kind, sharp, and quick to sort out a complicated reservation problem caused by the Hilton 800 line. She handled it competently and was a real help. The rooms are spacious, well equipped, and, most importantly, clean. I'd recommend this place.

The rooms were comfortable, clean, and modern, and I'll definitely stay again. The suite kitchen could use more equipment, though: there weren't enough pans, and once we didn't even have a bowl. The laundry setup also needs attention. There are three washer and dryer sets, but only one was working.

The room was spacious, and the staff were really friendly and helpful. It's clean and in a great location. My main gripe is that the only mirror is a small one in the bathroom; there should be one in the living area too. A dim light or night light in the bathroom would also be handy.

The room initially made a good impression, but then I noticed brownish-red splatter stains on the wall. I didn't drive to the hotel and didn't use the two bottles of water because I'm not a Hilton Club member, yet my card was charged for both parking and the water. This was my first stay at the Chauncey, and it will be my last. Graduate, Vetro, or Hyatt Place would be better choices. Something seems off about these charges after checkout.

We booked through Airbnb. The room itself was nice, but the service was poor, and communication between the hotel and Airbnb seemed lacking. The listing said it was air conditioned, but our room had no AC; they put a fan in instead. It was nearly 80 degrees inside when it was 70 outside. We also weren't told about hidden charges until after they were charged. Graduate is definitely the better stay.
